OC Jeff Tedford was spotted on the practice field at One Buc Place on Friday. Head Coach Lovie Smith reports his involvement in Sunday’s game will be made on Sunday.
“Jeff Tedford is getting better,” he said. “I know that I’ve said that each day, but he is getting better. Today he was out [at practice] – I think most you went inside into the shade and we stayed out there in the sun, he was out at practice. That’s a step in the right direction and he’ll be a game time decision.”
Tedford has been cleared for a “limited basis,” but Smith was ambiguous as to what that means.
“We told you earlier he came into the office a couple of days,” Smith said. “Today he came in again and he was out there a while, that’s all I can tell you.”
Should Tedford be unavailable for Sunday’s game, QB Coach Marcus Arroyo will be calling plays in his absence with collaboration from the offensive staff.
