Injury Report Week 3

The Buccaneers injury report grew after last week’s game, with a total of 11 players recovering from various injuries this week. Two players, LB Mason Foster (#59) and TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins (#87) have been definitively ruled out for tonight’s game. There are still question marks surrounding the following:

DE Michael Johnson (#90) – Ankle injury – questionable
RB Doug Martin (#22) – Knee injury – questionable
DT Gerald McCoy (#93) – Hand injury – questionable

Ian Rapoport reports Martin and McCoy are not looking good to play this evening. Martin will test out his knee in pre-game warmups, but is unlikely to participate. McCoy is almost certainly not playing, according to Rapoport. Things are looking hopeful for Johnson and he may play.

The good news is a majority of the players on the injury report are listed as probable.

DE Da’Quan Bowers (#91) – Abdominal injury – probable
C Evan Dietrich-Smith (#62) – Back injury – probable
T Demar Dotson (#69) – Hamstring injury – probable
DE William Gholston (#92) – Shoulder injury – probable
G Logan Mankins (#70) – Knee injury – probable
S Bradley McDougald (#49) – Knee injury – probable

We can only hope the injury bug is making its way out of Tampa.
