Buccaneers waste no time, begin making cuts ahead of Saturday deadline

Just as the team did with the first roster cuts, the Buccaneers wasted no time on Friday slimming down the roster ahead of the Saturday 53-man roster deadline. The first casualties of the roster cuts were:

LB Nate Askew – Waived
Edawn Coughman – Waived
CB Kip Edwards – Waived
DE T.J. Fatinikun – Waived
CB Anthony Gaitor – Waived
LB Ka’Lial Glaud – Waived
CB Keith Lewis – Waived
G Jamon Meredith – Released
OL Andrew Miller – Waived
FB Lonnie Pryor – Waived
Jeremiah Warren – Waived

This brings the roster number down to 63. 10 more to go. This page will be updated as more information becomes available.

This totaled 11 cuts of the 10 required. The Buccaneers also claimed OL Garrett Gilkey off waivers from the Browns.
